Inspired by the inherent thread between all forms of expression, she is currently exploring notions of home, memory, and nostalgia within her work. Ekko has also taught and choreographed at studios throughout South Florida, teaching a variety of styles to a wide range of ages, from children to adults. She harnesses a cyclical pedagogical approach, emphasizing the give and take required from both student and teacher to facilitate growth. The studios she has worked with include Palm Beach Atlantic University Preparatory Program, That’s Dancing, Precision Dance Conservatory, and Palm Beach Academy of Dance Arts.
